Companion Safety Lane Affiliate Disclosure

Effective date: October 01, 2026

Last Updated: October 01, 2026

Our Affiliate Relationships

Companion Safety Lane is an independent, reader-supported publisher. Some links and buttons on this website are affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase or begin a qualifying subscription through the linked manufacturer or retailer, Companion Safety Lane may receive a commission.

Purchase Prices and Manufacturer Discounts

When you make a qualifying purchase through an affiliate link, Companion Safety Lane may receive a commission paid by the manufacturer or retailer. That commission does not increase the price you pay.

Companion Safety Lane does not add fees to your purchase or retain any portion of a discount offered by the manufacturer or retailer. You remain entitled to any advertised discount for which your purchase is eligible. If a discounted purchase does not qualify for an affiliate commission, you still receive the full eligible discount, and Companion Safety Lane receives no commission from that transaction.

All prices, promotions, discount eligibility requirements, subscription charges, and purchasing terms are established solely by the manufacturer or retailer and may change without notice.

Our Editorial Independence

Affiliate commissions help support our research, website operation, and continuing editorial work. Compensation does not guarantee that a product will be featured or receive favorable coverage.

Our product selections, research conclusions, descriptions of limitations, and editorial judgments are made independently. We aim to present accurate, evidence-informed information that helps pet parents make their own decisions.

If Companion Safety Lane receives a free product, discount, sponsorship, payment, or another material benefit connected to particular content, we will disclose that relationship clearly within that content.

Affiliate Tracking and Privacy

When you use an affiliate link, the manufacturer, retailer, or affiliate network may use cookies or other tracking technologies to attribute a qualifying transaction to Companion Safety Lane. Those third parties process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Companion Safety Lane does not process payments or fulfill orders made through third-party websites. We may receive limited affiliate reports, such as information about clicks, qualifying transactions, and commissions. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information about data collection and third-party services.

Purchases From Third Parties

Purchases and subscriptions initiated through affiliate links are completed directly with the applicable manufacturer, retailer, or service provider. That third party—not Companion Safety Lane—sets the price and governs payment processing, shipping, returns, warranties, subscriptions, cancellations, and customer service.

Please review the merchant’s current terms, pricing, warranty information, and privacy policy before completing a transaction.

Brand Independence

Companion Safety Lane is an independent educational publisher. Unless expressly stated, we are not the manufacturer, distributor, agent, or authorized representative of the brands discussed on this website.

Brand names, product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on Companion Safety Lane is used to identify and discuss the applicable products and does not, by itself, indicate manufacturer sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.

© 2026 Companion Safety Lane.Companion Safety Lane Terms of Use

Effective date: September 17, 2026

Last updated: September 17, 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Companion Safety Lane website, articles, guides, reviews, graphics, decision-support resources, and related communications. Please read them carefully.

Companion Safety Lane is an independent educational publisher focused on pet safety technology, health and activity monitoring, GPS tracking, behavioral awareness, and related companion-animal products. We do not sell the products discussed on this website and do not provide veterinary diagnosis, medical treatment, emergency assistance, product warranties, or professional training services.

Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using Companion Safety Lane, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge our Privacy Policy, Affiliate Disclosure, and any other policy expressly incorporated into these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

These Terms apply to visitors, readers, pet parents, professionals, manufacturers, retailers, researchers, vendors, and anyone else who accesses or interacts with the website.

If you use the website on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In that circumstance, “you” includes both you and the organization.

Eligibility and Adult Audience

Companion Safety Lane is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to enter into these Terms on your own behalf.

The website is not directed to children. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for supervising a minor’s access to the website and for any decisions made using information found here.

Purpose and Scope of the Website

Companion Safety Lane publishes educational and editorial information intended to help readers understand categories of pet technology and questions they may wish to consider before choosing or using a product.

Content may include:

  • Explanations of product features and limitations.

  • Summaries of publicly available manufacturer information.

  • Discussion of pet activity, location, routine, and health-related monitoring technology.

  • General buying considerations and ownership responsibilities.

  • Illustrative scenarios showing how a technology might be used.

  • Links to manufacturer documentation, veterinary organizations, research publications, government resources, and other third-party information.

The website is not an online store, veterinary practice, animal hospital, emergency service, product-testing laboratory, engineering firm, certification body, insurance provider, or substitute for professional care.

No Veterinary, Medical, Behavioral, Legal, or Other Professional Advice

Nothing on Companion Safety Lane constitutes veterinary diagnosis, veterinary treatment, medical advice, behavioral therapy, individualized training instruction, legal advice, engineering advice, financial advice, or another regulated professional service.

Content discussing heart rate, respiration, temperature-related information, activity, sleep, scratching, barking, location, behavioral patterns, or other measurements explains technology and observation. It does not determine that a pet has or does not have a disease, injury, medical condition, behavioral disorder, or emergency.

Use of this website does not create:

  • A veterinarian-client-patient relationship.

  • A doctor-patient or therapist-client relationship.

  • An attorney-client relationship.

  • A fiduciary or professional-advisory relationship.

  • A manufacturer-authorized technical-support relationship.

Consult a licensed veterinarian or other appropriately qualified professional regarding a pet’s individual health, behavior, treatment, medication, mobility, nutrition, training, containment, or safety needs. Never delay or disregard appropriate professional care because of information found on this website or generated by a consumer device.

Emergencies and Safety-Critical Situations

Companion Safety Lane does not monitor visitors, pets, devices, alerts, or communications in real time. We cannot dispatch veterinary assistance, emergency responders, animal-control services, search teams, law enforcement, or manufacturer support.

Do not use the website or email Companion Safety Lane as a substitute for immediate help. If a person or animal may be in danger, contact an appropriate veterinarian, emergency veterinary hospital, animal poison-control resource, emergency service, law-enforcement agency, animal-control agency, or other qualified local authority.

Do not treat any article, GPS device, boundary system, activity monitor, biometric sensor, mobile application, notification, or alert as the sole safeguard against injury, illness, escape, loss, theft, or death.

Pet Technology Has Inherent Limitations

Consumer pet technology can support awareness, but it cannot guarantee safety, containment, diagnosis, treatment, recovery, or a particular outcome.

Performance may be affected by factors including:

  • Device fit, placement, charging, maintenance, and physical condition.

  • A pet’s size, coat, movement, health, behavior, and environment.

  • GPS visibility, satellite geometry, buildings, terrain, weather, interference, and signal obstruction.

  • Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, satellite, or internet availability.

  • Application permissions, phone settings, account configuration, notification settings, and software compatibility.

  • Battery level, subscription status, service availability, and manufacturer-system outages.

  • Firmware, application, algorithm, and service changes.

  • User setup, training, supervision, and response time.

Measurements, scores, alerts, maps, boundaries, and location updates may be delayed, incomplete, approximate, unavailable, or incorrect. No alert proves that a pet is safe or healthy. An alert does not establish a diagnosis, emergency, escape, or other conclusion.

Pet parents remain responsible for active supervision, secure physical precautions, suitable identification, appropriate training, routine veterinary care, and compliance with manufacturer instructions.

Product Information and Changing Specifications

Companion Safety Lane works to provide accurate, balanced, and current editorial information. Product information may be drawn from manufacturer websites, support documentation, applications, public statements, retailer information, research, and other sources available when content is prepared or updated.

Manufacturers and service providers may change without notice:

  • Hardware, packaging, accessories, dimensions, weight, materials, or compatibility.

  • Features, algorithms, application functions, notifications, and terminology.

  • Battery claims, charging methods, connectivity, and service coverage.

  • Prices, promotions, subscription plans, renewal terms, and geographic availability.

  • Eligibility requirements, warranties, returns, customer support, and product availability.

  • Veterinary, sharing, safety, training, or account features.

Content can therefore become incomplete or outdated. Publication dates, verification dates, and links do not guarantee that information remains current on the date a visitor reads or relies upon it.

Before purchasing, activating, fitting, training with, or relying on a product, verify material information directly with the responsible manufacturer or retailer. Review the current product manual, safety warnings, fit instructions, subscription terms, coverage requirements, privacy policy, return policy, and warranty.

Editorial Judgment, Research, and Corrections

Companion Safety Lane exercises independent editorial judgment. Our selection of products, interpretation of public information, organization of content, and conclusions represent our editorial assessment at the time of publication.

Reasonable people may interpret the same product information differently. Editorial judgments are not certifications, guarantees, manufacturer statements, veterinary opinions, laboratory findings, or promises of future performance.

We may correct, update, expand, shorten, reorganize, or remove content at any time. We welcome good-faith correction requests, but we do not guarantee that every requested change will be adopted or that every message will receive an individual response.

To request a correction, email companionsafetylane@gmail.com and identify the page, disputed statement, proposed correction, and reliable supporting source.

Editorial Independence and Material Relationships

Companion Safety Lane may participate in affiliate programs and may receive a commission when a visitor intentionally follows an eligible link and completes a qualifying transaction. We may also receive products, information, access, demonstrations, or other items from manufacturers or service providers. When a relationship is material to a reader’s evaluation of our content, we aim to disclose it clearly and conspicuously as required by applicable law.

Affiliate compensation does not purchase a favorable conclusion, guarantee coverage, prevent discussion of meaningful limitations, or give a manufacturer editorial control unless a different arrangement is expressly disclosed.

The existence of an affiliate relationship does not mean that Companion Safety Lane is owned, operated, sponsored, approved, or controlled by the manufacturer, retailer, or affiliate network. For additional information, review the Affiliate Disclosure.

Technology-Assisted Editorial Workflows

Companion Safety Lane may use technology-assisted tools, including artificial intelligence, to help organize public research, develop outlines, review grammar, assess readability, check consistency, or support website layout and technical work.

These tools do not act as veterinarians, product manufacturers, regulators, or independent sources of verified facts. Published content is subject to human editorial review, but human review and technology-assisted review do not guarantee that content will be free from error or remain current after publication.

The use of an editorial tool does not transfer responsibility for Companion Safety Lane’s published content to the tool’s developer or create an endorsement by that developer.

Third-Party Products and Services

Products, applications, subscriptions, websites, veterinary features, support services, and other resources discussed or linked on Companion Safety Lane are provided by independent third parties.

Companion Safety Lane does not manufacture, design, test for regulatory approval, distribute, sell, fulfill, install, activate, register, repair, insure, warrant, or provide technical support for those products or services.

We do not control and are not responsible for a third party’s:

  • Product design, manufacturing quality, safety testing, instructions, warnings, or regulatory compliance.

  • Application performance, algorithms, measurements, alerts, maps, data practices, or cybersecurity.

  • Cellular, satellite, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or other network coverage.

  • Pricing, promotions, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, or service changes.

  • Inventory, order acceptance, billing, shipping, delivery, returns, refunds, or exchanges.

  • Warranty, repair, replacement, customer service, or technical support.

  • Veterinary relationships, professional services, interpretations, recommendations, or communications.

Any dispute concerning a product purchase, subscription, charge, shipment, warranty, account, application, repair, refund, or manufacturer service must be addressed to the responsible third party.

Nothing in these Terms eliminates any nonwaivable right or claim a consumer may have directly against a manufacturer, retailer, payment processor, service provider, or other third party. Those parties are not controlled by Companion Safety Lane merely because they are discussed or linked here.

External Links

Links are provided for convenience, attribution, verification, education, or access to third-party products and services. A link does not necessarily mean that Companion Safety Lane endorses every statement, product, policy, practice, or future change associated with the linked resource.

External websites may change, move, become unavailable, or contain inaccurate, objectionable, insecure, or unlawful material. Visitors access third-party resources at their own discretion and are responsible for reviewing the applicable terms, privacy policies, cookie practices, safety information, and purchase conditions.

Purchases and Payments

Companion Safety Lane does not process product purchases through this website. When a visitor follows a link and buys from a manufacturer, retailer, or other merchant, the transaction is between the visitor and that merchant.

The merchant—not Companion Safety Lane—determines the displayed price, discounts, taxes, fees, shipping, payment methods, financing, availability, subscription terms, refund rights, and order acceptance. An affiliate commission ordinarily does not change the price established by the merchant, but Companion Safety Lane cannot control or guarantee a third party’s pricing or checkout system.

Do not send Companion Safety Lane payment-card information, bank information, retailer credentials, or other payment details.

Illustrations, Examples, and Reported Experiences

Scenarios, examples, quotations, testimonials, reported experiences, and descriptions of possible product use are provided for explanation. They do not guarantee that another person or pet will have the same experience or outcome.

A scenario may be hypothetical, condensed, or adapted to explain a practical issue. Unless expressly identified as a verified account from a named source, a scenario should not be interpreted as a claim that a specific event occurred.

Individual results vary by pet, environment, device, service, setup, training, supervision, and other circumstances.

No Endorsement by Veterinarians, Researchers, or Organizations

A citation, quotation, research reference, professional credential, or link to a veterinary association, government agency, university, research publisher, or other organization does not imply that the person or organization endorses Companion Safety Lane, its conclusions, or any featured product.

General research findings may not predict results for an individual pet. Companion Safety Lane does not speak for a veterinarian, researcher, institution, manufacturer, regulator, or professional organization unless an authorized statement is clearly attributed.

Trademarks and Brand Identification

Product names, company names, logos, model names, application names, service marks, trademarks, and registered trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Companion Safety Lane may use brand and product names for identification, reference, criticism, commentary, reporting, and education. Such use does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, ownership, partnership, agency, licensing, or approval unless expressly stated.

Manufacturers and trademark owners remain responsible for their own products, marks, claims, websites, services, and communications.

Ownership of Companion Safety Lane Content

Except for third-party materials, public-domain material, quotations, trademarks, and content otherwise identified, the original text, selection, arrangement, graphics, photographs, illustrations, and other expressive content created for Companion Safety Lane are owned by Companion Safety Lane or used with permission and are protected to the extent provided by applicable intellectual-property law.

Copyright does not protect facts, ideas, systems, methods, product specifications, or short phrases merely because they appear on the website. Nothing in these Terms claims ownership over material that the law does not protect or that belongs to another person.

Limited Permission for Personal Use

Subject to these Terms, Companion Safety Lane grants visitors a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to access and use the website for lawful, personal, noncommercial purposes.

Visitors may:

  • Read and view publicly available pages.

  • Print or save a reasonable number of pages for personal, noncommercial reference.

  • Share an ordinary link to a publicly available page.

  • Quote a brief excerpt when permitted by law and accompanied by clear attribution and a link to the source.

This permission does not transfer ownership or grant a license to use trademarks, proprietary graphics, photographs, complete articles, or substantial portions of the website for commercial purposes.

Prohibited Uses

Except as permitted by law or authorized in writing, you may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license, distribute, or commercially exploit substantial portions of the website or its original content.

  • Remove or obscure copyright, trademark, attribution, or rights notices.

  • Present Companion Safety Lane content as your own or falsely suggest our sponsorship or approval.

  • Scrape, harvest, crawl, extract, or systematically collect content or data by automated means, except for ordinary search-engine indexing that respects published technical controls.

  • Use website content to train, develop, benchmark, or supply a commercial artificial-intelligence or machine-learning system without written permission, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, hosting platform, accounts, servers, databases, or connected systems.

  • Interfere with website operation, overload infrastructure, introduce malicious code, probe vulnerabilities without authorization, or circumvent access or security controls.

  • Impersonate another person or organization or misrepresent an affiliation with Companion Safety Lane.

  • Use the website to commit fraud, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, threaten or harass others, distribute unlawful material, or violate applicable law.

  • Use contact channels to send spam, malicious attachments, deceptive requests, or abusive communications.

These restrictions do not prohibit lawful fair use, protected criticism, news reporting, research, accessibility use, regulatory activity, whistleblowing, or another use that cannot lawfully be restricted.

Linking to Companion Safety Lane

You may link to a publicly available Companion Safety Lane page if the link is lawful, accurate, and does not falsely suggest sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or approval.

You may not frame the website, display it in a misleading context, use our branding as the link without permission, or link in a way that is deceptive, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful. We may request removal of a link that violates these conditions.

Communications, Corrections, and Other Submissions

When you send a message, correction request, suggestion, photograph, document, quotation, product information, or other material, you represent that:

  • You have the right to submit it.

  • The submission does not knowingly violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or contractual rights.

  • The submission is not knowingly false, fraudulent, malicious, or unlawful.

  • Any professional role or organizational affiliation you state is accurate.

You retain ownership of material you own. You grant Companion Safety Lane a limited, nonexclusive permission to receive, store, review, reproduce internally, verify, and use the submission as reasonably necessary to respond, evaluate a correction, improve the website, preserve an editorial record, protect legal rights, or perform the purpose for which it was submitted.

We will seek appropriate permission before publicly attributing or publishing a private person’s original submission unless the submission was clearly provided for publication, is already lawfully public, or publication is otherwise permitted by law.

Unsolicited information does not create a confidential-source agreement, nondisclosure agreement, professional relationship, or obligation to publish, remove, or change content. Do not send trade secrets, privileged materials, embargoed information, complete veterinary records, passwords, financial information, or other highly sensitive material unless an appropriate written arrangement has been made in advance.

Personal information included in a submission is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Feedback

If you voluntarily provide a general idea or suggestion for improving website functionality, layout, or content, you allow Companion Safety Lane to consider and use that feedback without compensation or obligation to you. This provision does not transfer ownership of an original work, confidential information, or material protected by a separate written agreement.

Copyright Concerns

Companion Safety Lane respects intellectual-property rights. If you believe material on the website infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, email companionsafetylane@gmail.com and provide:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work.

  • The exact page and material at issue.

  • Your name and reliable contact information.

  • A statement explaining the basis of your claim and your authority to act.

  • Any information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.

We may request additional information, restrict access to disputed material while reviewing a claim, or decline requests that are incomplete, fraudulent, abusive, or unsupported. This section does not designate a statutory agent or promise eligibility for any particular statutory safe harbor.

Privacy

Our collection and handling of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms for purposes of explaining our information practices. Still, it does not create rights beyond those provided by applicable law or an express commitment in that policy.

Website Availability and Changes

We may add, change, correct, reorganize, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the website or its content. We do not guarantee that the website, any page, any link, or any feature will always be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

We may perform maintenance, respond to security concerns, comply with legal obligations, or remove material without advance notice when reasonably necessary.

Suspension or Restriction of Access

We may restrict or block access when we reasonably believe a person has violated these Terms, threatened website security, misused our communications, infringed rights, or exposed Companion Safety Lane or others to legal or technical risk.

Restriction of access does not limit any other lawful remedy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, indemnification, dispute, and miscellaneous provisions—will remain effective.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Companion Safety Lane and all website content are provided “as is” and “as available.”

Companion Safety Lane disclaims express, implied, and statutory warranties concerning the website and content, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, availability, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, security, and freedom from harmful code.

We do not warrant that:

  • Content will be free of errors or omissions.

  • A product or service will perform as described by a manufacturer or as discussed on the website.

  • A tracker, sensor, boundary, alert, map, application, or subscription will remain available or function without interruption.

  • Use of a product will prevent escape, locate a missing pet, identify illness, improve health, change behavior, provide containment, or produce another specific result.

  • External information, links, research, or manufacturer materials will remain accurate or available.

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of particular warranties. In those jurisdictions, exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Companion Safety Lane and its owner, editors, contributors, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data, revenue, profits, opportunity, goodwill, or use; emotional distress; or costs arising from substitute products or services, resulting from or related to:

  • Access to, inability to access, or use of the website.

  • Reliance on website content or failure to obtain professional advice.

  • A purchase, subscription, account, product, application, or service provided by a third party.

  • A pet’s health, behavior, containment, escape, location, recovery, injury, or death.

  • Inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, or misunderstood alerts, measurements, maps, boundaries, or location information.

  • Unauthorized access, malicious code, service interruption, data loss, or another event beyond our reasonable control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of Companion Safety Lane and the persons identified above for all claims arising from or related to the website or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid directly to Companion Safety Lane for access to the website during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory and even if the possibility of damages was known. They do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, which may include liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury caused by a party’s negligence in jurisdictions where such limitations are prohibited.

Mandatory consumer-protection rights remain unaffected.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Companion Safety Lane and its owner, editors, contributors, contractors, and service providers from third-party claims, damages, judgments, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from:

  • Your unlawful or unauthorized use of the website.

  • Material you submit that infringes or violates another person’s rights.

  • Your fraud, willful misconduct, or violation of these Terms.

  • Your violation of applicable law.

This indemnification does not apply to claims caused by Companion Safety Lane’s own unlawful conduct and does not require a consumer to waive a right that cannot lawfully be waived. We may control the defense and settlement of a covered claim. Still, we will not agree to a settlement that imposes a personal admission or nonmonetary obligation on you without your consent.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent that the mandatory law of another jurisdiction applies and cannot lawfully be waived.

Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of nonwaivable protections provided by the law of the consumer’s place of residence.

Informal Resolution and Court Venue

Before filing a lawsuit concerning these Terms or the website, you and Companion Safety Lane agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally. A written notice should describe the dispute, the relevant facts, and the requested resolution. Notices to Companion Safety Lane may be sent to companionsafetylane@gmail.com with the subject line Legal Notice.

If a dispute is not resolved informally, and unless mandatory law permits or requires a different forum, the parties agree that proceedings may be brought in the state courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts to the extent legally permitted.

This section does not prevent either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief, filing an eligible matter in small-claims court, reporting a concern to a regulator or law-enforcement agency, or exercising a right that cannot lawfully be restricted.

These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive a lawful right to participate in a class action.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the website, our practices, affiliate relationships, technology, or applicable law. The Last updated date identifies the current version.

Material changes may also be communicated through a prominent website notice or another method required by law. Changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date unless applicable law permits otherwise.

Continued use of the website after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree with revised Terms, discontinue use of the website.

Miscellaneous Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the entire agreement between you and Companion Safety Lane concerning use of the website. They do not replace a separate written agreement signed by authorized parties concerning a specific professional, affiliate, vendor, or confidential relationship.

Severability and Reformation

If a provision is held unlawful or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and modified only as much as necessary to make it enforceable. If modification is not permitted, the provision will be severed. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

No Waiver

Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision or of the right to enforce it later. A waiver is effective only if made in writing by an authorized representative.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms or transfer rights under them without our written consent. Companion Safety Lane may assign these Terms in connection with a reorganization, transfer of the website, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

No Partnership or Agency

These Terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, employment, franchise, fiduciary, agency, veterinary, professional, or representative relationship between a visitor and Companion Safety Lane.

Discussion of or links to a manufacturer, retailer, veterinary organization, researcher, service provider, or affiliate network do not create a partnership or agency relationship between that party and Companion Safety Lane.

No Third-Party Beneficiaries

Except where these Terms expressly protect an identified Companion Safety Lane owner, editor, contributor, contractor, or service provider, no third party is intended to have enforcement rights under these Terms.

Headings

Headings are provided for readability and do not limit the meaning of a provision.
